Exporting Data

Overview

Heatmap Housing lets you export your deal analysis so you can share it with agents, lenders, or partners. Export is available from the Pipeline for properties you’re actively tracking.

Pipeline CSV Export

Export properties from your Pipeline plans to a CSV file:

1. Open the Pipeline panel (bottom drawer or full-screen view)
2. Select the plan you want to export
3. Click the Export button
4. A CSV file downloads with your tracked properties

What’s Included in the Export

The CSV includes the key data you need to share with your team:

Property Details

• Address and location
• Property type and bedroom/bathroom count
• Listing price and listing status

Financial Analysis

• Estimated rent (market and/or voucher)
• Cash flow, cap rate, cash-on-cash return
• Max offer price (based on your target returns)
• Key expense assumptions

Pipeline Stage

• Current stage (Tracking, Analyzing, Ready to Offer, Sent, Closed)
• Plan name

Export Availability

Pipeline CSV export is available on paid plans. See the Pricing page for details.

CSV Format

The exported file will be a standard CSV (Comma-Separated Values) format:

• First row: Column headers
• Following rows: Data records
• Delimiter: Comma (,)
• Text qualifier: Double quotes (")
• Encoding: UTF-8

Opening a CSV File

Microsoft Excel

1. Open Excel
2. Go to File > Open
3. Select the downloaded CSV file
4. Excel will automatically parse the data into columns

Google Sheets

1. Go to Google Sheets
2. Click File > Import
3. Upload the CSV file
4. Choose "Replace spreadsheet" or "Insert new sheet"
5. Click Import data

Other Tools

CSV is a universal format supported by:

• LibreOffice Calc
• Apple Numbers
• Python (pandas library)
• R (read.csv())
• SQL databases (LOAD DATA INFILE)
• Any text editor
